Road directions.

The cabins are located 200 km west of Oslo.

From Oslo: Drive E18 towards Drammen.  In Drammen continue on E134 towards Kongsberg and Notodden. After Notodden drive about 15 km to Ørvella. Turn right on road no. 361 towards Gransherad. Continue on road no. 37 towards Rjukan.

From Larvik: Alt. 1: Drive via Skien and Gvarv (road no. 36 and 360) to Notodden. Alt. 2: Drive via Hvittingfoss (road no. 40) to Kongsberg.

From Kristiansand: Alt 1 (best winter) Drive E18 and turn off just before Skien on road no. 353 via Herre to Gvarv and Notodden (road no. 36). Alt 2: Drive road no. 41 up through Telemark via Vrådal and Seljord.

Before Rjukan at Dale church and Mår powerstation turn left towards Gaustatoppen (and towards Tuddal in summer). After about 8 km turn left towards Gaustablikk and Kvitåvatn. Drive past Gaustablikk Høyfjellshotell about 400 meters. Kvitåvatn Fjellhytter is on the left side of the road..
During the summer it is possible to drive road no. 651 via Tuddal, Flisetjønnskaret and Svineroi.

Be aware: Do not drive in to Kvitåvatn Fjellstoge 200 meters after the hotel on the right side of the road. Do not drive to the postal address on the bottom of the homepage.
